“France Through Race: Beyond Colorblindness,” translation by Samuel Lamontagne

Samuel Lamontagne, a Ph.D. candidate in the department of Ethnomusicology in the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music and a teaching assistant in the French section of ELTS, is creating a new translations section for the UCLA journal Ufamu: An African Studies Journal.

The translation is titled “France Through Race Beyond Colorblindness,” which addresses the issues of race in France.
