This chapter is making connections to dialogic practices in higher education and online in our contemporary time. It discusses the practices of sociability, symphilosophy, and sympoetry that were promoted in the German literary circles in the Romantic era. The collaborative creation of new ideas through practices of collective creative efforts in our own and in previous times provides helpful examples of how we may continue to revitalize existing public sphere sites and develop new ones in order to support dialogical forms of education.
