Amandine Aftalion: LA 2028: How to Be a Champion Using Science

The Center of Excellence welcomes Amandine Aftalion on April 17th at 5:30PM in Royce Hall 236. Amandine is a French mathematician, who currently serves as the Director of Research at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) – University Paris Saclay. She specializes in applying her knowledge to the fields of sports and science, known for her research on Bose–Einstein condensates and on the mathematics of footracing, among many other research initiatives.
