February 18 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm PST
Royce Hall 314
The Italian Club invites you to a special screening of La leggenda del pianista sull’oceano on February 18 from 5–7 PM in Royce 314. Directed by Academy Award–winning Italian filmmaker Giuseppe Tornatore and based on Alessandro Baricco’s monologue Novecento, the film tells the story of a legendary pianist born aboard an ocean liner who spends his entire life at sea, never setting foot on land. Expansive yet intimate, the film explores themes of migration, identity, belonging, and the quiet terror of limitless possibility.
