2026 ELTS Job Fair

On April 13, the Department of European Languages and Transcultural Studies (ELTS) hosted its second ELTS Job Fair, a full-day event that brought students into direct contact with organizations across sectors including cultural institutions, international organizations, government and consular offices, education, media, consulting, business, and tech. The fair created space for students to connect, explore, and begin building pathways into internships and future careers.

The day began with networking sessions, where students engaged with representatives, asked questions, and explored internship and career opportunities. Participating organizations included GABA, Fondazione Italia, CIEE, ARC Hub / HumTech, Thomas Mann House, Villa Aurora, The Elles Collective, the Italian Trade Agency, the UCLA Career Center, Goethe-Institut USA, the Institute for Field Education, Vista Higher Learning, the Consulate General of France – Villa Albertine, Wonda, the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, the South East European Film Festival, ECA Partners, and Biz in LA.

In the afternoon, a roundtable moderated by ELTS Undergraduate Ambassadors Zoe French and Morgan O’Brien featured questions submitted by students, with panelists speaking to career paths and how academic training carries into professional contexts. The event concluded with a series of Company Spotlights, in which select organizations offered brief overviews of their work and available opportunities.
