Marc Bensimon

Fields of interest: Renaissance French Literature
Marc Bensimon, a native of France, attended the University of Algiers. He holds an M.A. from the University of Colorado (1951) and a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania (1955). He is now Professor Emeritus at the University of California. Dr. Bensimon has contributed to various periodicals and published a critical edition of Vauquelin de la Fresnaye’s Foresteries (TLF, Droz, 1956) and Ronsard’s Hymnes.
