Águilas on the IDA Shortlist for Best Documentary Short!

The UCLA Department of European Languages and Transcultural Studies and the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television are proud to announce that the short documentary Águilas is now part of the IDA Shortlist for Best Documentary Short and is eligible for the Oscar nomination list!

Since the beginning of 2021, Águilas has been admitted to countless festivals and has won 9 awards thus far. Please click here to see the list.

Moreover, Águilas is on the New Yorker short documentary platform and will screen on PBS’ Oscar and Emmy-award winning documentary series POV on December 6, 2021.
