The UCLA Department of European Languages and Transcultural Studies is proud to announce that Aguilas is one of fifteen films that will advance in the Documentary Short Subject category for the 94th Academy Awards! Nominations voting begins on January 27, 2022, and concludes on February 1, 2022. Nominations will be announced on February 8, 2022. The Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC.
