Andrea Bini earned his Ph.D. from the UCLA department of Italian in 2011. In 2012, he won a two-year Mellon Junior Faculty Fellowship at Washington and Lee University, where he taught Italian language, literature in translation, and film studies. His revised dissertation, Comedy Italian Style: Male Anxiety and Psychopathology in Film, will be published as a monograph by Palgrave Macmillan (2015). He recently published his revised dissertation with the title Male Anxiety and Psychopathology in Film. Comedy Italian Style (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015). He is currently works as an Adjunct Professor at the American University of Rome.
