Viviana Pezzera

Viviana Pezzera, Lecturer in Italian, is from Bergamo, Italy. She graduated from the University of Bologna with a degree in visual arts and an emphasis in theater.  She received her Ph.D. from the department of Italian at UCLA. Her scholarly interests include gender studies, theatre, fin-de-siècle literature, and modern Italian culture, especially interdisciplinary relations between literature, politics, history, and film. She has many years of experience teaching Italian language, literature, and cinema.
